How Championship Class Points Are
Tallied And Earned In SCORE

or many SCORE racers, winning a single race against competitors in the
same class simply isn't enough. Many also want to win a Season Class Points
Championship to confirm they are the top competitor within their class. After
each race, points are awarded to each individual competitor in each class
based on their participation and finishing position, considering they have
followed all of the entry and participation rules set forth by SCORE International.
How Points Are Earned
Over the years, there have been many questions regarding how the points
are earned and tallied according to various classes and scenarios. SCORE Race
Operations provided some additional information from their most frequently asked
questions to help teams navigate through the Championship Points process.
During any SCORE World Desert Championship season, competitors can enter
and compete in all of the SCORE races. As an example, for the 2025 season, there
