Through the financial backing of Larry Connor and Team C Racing, Mason
Motorsports took its next major leap forward in developing the first Trophy Truck
back in 2015. This vehicle platform was tested by legends like Ricky Johnson,
Rob MacCachren, and Bryce Menzies. With the realization that there was just not
enough distinction from other race-winning platforms of the day, Neal and Robert
committed themselves to developing a more advanced and high-performance
Trophy Truck.
Their prior success and pursuit of innovation led to the construction of its world-
renowned Mason Motorsports all-wheel-drive SCORE Trophy Truck, now fielded by
top racers. To date, there have been approximately 20 AWD trucks delivered, and
several others, like 2WD TTs and Spec TTs, and other trucks for international clients
like Australia.
Mason Motorsports has claimed four consecutive SCORE Original Truck Chassis
Manufacturer of the Year awards (2021-2024) and is leading the constructors'
championship in 2025. Since 2021, racers competing with Mason Motorsports
equipment in SCORE International events have earned at least 17 wins and over 60
podiums in the SCORE Trophy Truck and Trophy Truck Legend categories alone.
