2025 AEC PROGRAM 6 WELCOME FROM THE USEA Welcome to the 2025 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC), Presented by Nutrena Feeds! Welcome to beautiful Temecula, California, and the stunning grounds of Galway Downs! It is our great pleasure to have you at the 2025 USEA American Eventing Championships, proudly presented by our longtime partners at Nutrena. This event represents the pinnacle of achievement in U.S. eventing, a true national championship for all levels of our sport, and it is an honor to celebrate your arrival here after months, or even years, of preparation and dedication. As President of the USEA, it is both an honor and a privilege to be part of this championship and to stand among so many remarkable horse-and-rider partnerships. In my eyes, every competitor here is already a champion. Qualifying for the AEC is no small feat—it reflects years of dedication, grit, and the unique bond you've forged with your horse. This week is not only about crowning winners, but also about honoring the journey that brought each of you here, from your first event to this national stage. To our riders, congratulations on reaching this prestigious milestone. Your passion, perseverance, and partnership with your horses are what make this sport so inspiring. To the owners, your investment of time, trust, and resources is instrumental to this journey, and we are deeply grateful for your unwavering support of both our athletes and their horses. We are especially fortunate to return to Galway Downs, a venue known for its excellence in competition and hospitality. We extend our sincere thanks to Ken and Tina Smith, owners of this beautiful property, for their incredible generosity and continued commitment to the sport of eventing. Their stewardship of Galway Downs allows us to host a championship of this caliber on the West Coast, a true gift to the eventing community. Our heartfelt thanks also go out to the dedicated USEA staff, led by Kate Lokey and Kaleigh Collett, whose months of planning and hard work have made this event possible. Equally deserving of recognition is our extraordinary organizing team, led by Robert Kellerhouse and supported by Katy Robinson, Chris Bullard, Kristi Fetzer, Kim Miller, and Sally Spickard. Their professionalism, creativity, and logistical expertise have brought this championship to life. Please take a moment during your time here to thank them. You'll find their fingerprints on every detail, from the beautiful courses to the welcoming atmosphere. As you enjoy the week, please also show your appreciation to the hundreds of volunteers who give their time to support this event. They are the lifeblood of our sport, and without them, none of this would be possible. Whether you are competing, spectating, or supporting, consider joining the volunteer effort or
