Struck By
Retail workers are at risk of struck-by
injuries from falling merchandise, moving
delivery vehicles, and limited visibility in
busy parking areas. These hazards are often
exacerbated by cluttered aisles, improperly
stacked inventory, and the absence of
designated safe zones for pedestrians
and workers. Proactive measures such as
improved layout design, adequate lighting,
clear signage, and regular housekeeping
and safety inspections can help mitigate
these risks.
