A GATHERING OF THE UNDEFEATED Racers Show Their Dominance With Consecutive Class Wins By Dan Sanchez Photos by Get Some Photo   The 6th SCORE Baja 400 was a demonstration of the pinnacle of off-road racing competition and achievement. Across a 426.6-mile course, a total of nine racers across a variety of four-wheel and moto classes managed to win their third victories in a row during the 2025 season. In addition, this race also added Alan Ampudia to the list of “Grand Slam” winners who have won all four SCORE-International races. Overall, the SCORE San Felipe 250, SCORE Baja 500, SCORE Baja 400, and SCORE Baja 1000. He joins Bryce Menzies as the only racers who have won all four races overall during their career. While the SCORE Baja 400 is always a tough competition, it was more difficult this year than any other. First, the Method Race Wheel Qualifier would mix up the starting positions at every race this season. Second, at this SCORE Baja 400, officials allowed the top classes, Trophy Truck, 2WD Trophy Truck, TT Legends, Class 1, and TT Spec to start where they qualified, mixing the classes at the start. Unlike any other race this season, or past seasons for that matter, the toughest and fastest competitors were up front, making winning a race in those classes much more difficult, and competing at a faster pace. ONTINGENCY DAY   For SCORE fans, Contingency Day was one of the highlights of the 6th SCORE Baja 400, with racers and teams lining the streets of Ensenada to slowly make their way up the Boulevard Costero and up the race ramp in front of the Rivera del Pacifico Cultural Center. It’s here that SCORE emcees, Rat Sult and Kevin Johnson, were busy interviewing racers from a variety of classes throughout the day.  Tech and Contingency day was on the SCORE Live Stream, viewable on the SCORE website, app, YouTube, and Facebook social media pages.  SJ
