SINCE WE STARTED IN 2008, THE USA CLAY TARGET LEAGUE has broken participation records every season and every year. We've discovered how much young people love shooting clay targets, making new friends, and being mentored by caring adults. While athletes are having fun and competing safely, they 're also building important skills, succeeding in school, strengthening their communities, and contributing to vital conservation efforts. Ultimately, the League's growth over the years has created even more opportunities for not only student athletes, but also for coaches, and shooting ranges nationwide. New this past year, the League implemented the Scorekeeper Training Program, to help teach everyone the basics of working with a squad on the field of play. This tool includes policies, procedures and other resources associated with overseeing a clay target shooting event. On behalf of the entire league, THANK YOU coaches, schools and the communities that support us. Here's to an exciting 2026! RECORD DEMAND PARTICIPATION MIS SION The USA Clay Target League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the independent provider of clay target shooting sports for secondary and postsecondary schools. The League's priorities are safety, fun, and marksmanship—in that order. CORE PROGR AMS USA High School Clay Target League: The USA High School Clay Target League is the independent provider of shooting sports as an extracurricular co-ed activity to high schools for students in grades 6–12 who have their firearms safety certification. USA College Clay Target League: The USA College Clay Target League gives student athletes the opportunity to continue competing in the sport they love while working toward their college degree. USA Homeschool Clay Target League: The USA Homeschool Clay Target League is reaching homeschool students, communities, and associations—groups traditionally underserved by sanctioned high school activities—across the country.
