The gamebreaker has already shattered virtually every single-season franchise record and is close to passing Marian Gaborik for the all- time goals mark. Parise finished second—the Wild's ultimate Energizer Bunny, the guy who "kept going and going and going." There's no question his arrival alongside Ryan Suter revitalized a bland franchise. The Wild reached the playof fs in eight of their nine years together a f ter missing the prev ious four, including back-to- back second-round r uns in 2014 and 2015. Parise still ranks four th in team histor y w ith 199 goa ls and fif th w ith 400 points. Rolston comes in third. For years he was considered the Wild's most successful free- agent signing—a revered leader who mentored players like Mikko Koiv u and topped 30 goals in each of his three seasons in Minnesota. His booming slap shot, especially in shootouts, became a nightly thrill at Xcel Energ y Center. A nd rounding out the group is Brunette, owner of the greatest laugh in hockey. Brunette played two stints with the Wild and later ser ved on the coaching staff, in player development, and in the front office as assistant GM. CENTERS Koiv u, the lone player in franchise history with his number (9) in the rafters, is all over the Wild record book. He leads the organization in games played (1,028), assists (504), points (709), power-play points (251), shots (2,270), faceoff wins (10,354) and shootout goals (42). At his peak, Koiv u was among the NHL's top two-way centers, setting the standard for work ethic and preparation inside the room. Eriksson Ek follows him on the list—the franchise's modern-day battering ram. Eriksson Ek has built his career around the crease and takes immense punishment. Staal checks in next. In just four seasons, the former Hurricanes captain and Stanley Cup champion made a con- siderable impact, leading the Wild to three playoff appearances, earn- ing an A ll-Star Game selection and tying the single-season franchise RIGHT WINGS • Marian Gaborik • Matt Boldy • Mats Zuccarello • Kevin Fiala M H J ON L I N E .
