BEST ADVICE YOU
HAVE RECEIVED FROM
A COACH OR MENTOR?
p Probably stay in the
day. Our coach (David
Hoff) now says that.
Don't get caught up in
the future. Don't play
the gold-medal game
before you actually
get to the gold-medal
game. Stay in the day.
Stay in the moment.

F O R M I L A N ?
The food, the fans
and having that
energy in the stadium.
If we get to that gold-medal
game and win, then celebrating
with the people who brought
you to this moment. That
would be another good
feeling as well."

Who is your favorite
musical artist and
song?
Rod Wave's
"Leavin."
Ultimate vacation?
Maybe an island
vacation like Turks and
Caicos or Jamaica. I just
love the island vibes.
Who's your role
model?
I would say my
father. He is what a good
man should be.
How special would
it be for the U.S.
Paralympic Sled
Hockey Team to win
a fifth consecutive
gold medal?
It would
mean everything. That
is the pinnacle of sled
hockey. No one has
ever five-peated in the
Paralympics for sled
hockey, so to be the first
to do it, we all know
what we are competing
for and all are willing to
step up to the challenge,
and nobody is afraid.
Q U I C K H I T S
P R E G A M E M E A L ?
p Just carb load. I do
really like spaghetti.
