After the game, Wallace pointed to the chemistry that he and his teammates had in Italy, which is something they 've built up after years of playing together. "We're 17 brothers," he said. "It's a really tight bond. Anytime you're in our locker room, you're going to hear laughing, we're having a good time. I love these guys." Wallace also had plenty of nice things to say about Pauls, someone he considers a mentor as well as a friend. "He literally got me started in the game," Wallace said. "He was my teammate in my first game and actu- ally got me a hat trick in my first game ever playing sled hockey, and [today] he passed me the puck for my third goal and the hat trick. "I'm so happy to have met him and known him my entire life as long as I have. He's one of the best leaders and captains anyone could ever ask for.
