PRE OPERATION
1. Prepare the workspace: clear the table except for workpiece or stock.
2. Secure the workpiece: use a clamp or vise to prevent spinning.
3. Adjust table and work stop: set to correct height and position and lock them in.
4. Check the bit: lock drill bit in chuck; remove and secure chuck key.
5. Shield the spindle: position the guard over the point of operation.
6. Set speed: match drill speed to material type.
DURING OPERATION
1. Drill carefully: lower spindle slowly using the hand lever. Lubricate drill bit as needed.
2. Start small: drill a pilot hole before enlarging.
3. Ease through: reduce force as the bit breaks through the material.
4. Keep hands clear: stay away from spindle and drill area. Never reach around or under.

PRECAUTIONS
1. Inspect equipment - Do not use if equipment is damaged.
2. Inspect guards/shields - Do not use if guards/shields are missing or damaged.
3. Keep drill bits clean and sharp.
4. Secure long hair, ensure no loose clothing, remove jewelry, no gloves while
machine is in operation.
