PRE OPERATION
1. Prepare the workspace: remove everything off the jointer except for the workpiece.
2. Adjust the fence: set fence position and angle, as needed.
3. Set the cut depth: max 1/8
th
inch.
4. Inspect the wood: avoid loose knots, defects, nails or foreign objects.
5. Start dust collector: turn it on before powering up the jointer and starting the cut.

PRECAUTIONS
1. Inspect equipment - Do not use if equipment is damaged.
2. Inspect guards/ shields - Do not use if guards/shields are missing or damaged.
3. Tie back long hair, ensure no loose clothing, remove jewelry, no gloves while
machine is in operation.
