Moto Racers, The Backbone Of SCORE Racing face it, there would not be any SCORE Baja racing without motorcycles charging through the desert. Two-wheeled riders invented Baja racing, and pushed it into popularity and what it is today. In this issue, we honor the legends and today's top teams and the owners who bring in new talent and forges them into champions. Mark Samuels is considered by many, one of SCORE's modern-day legends, learning from other legends such as Johnny Campbell. He now passes his knowledge to the next generation of Slam Life Racing Team's riders, honing their skills and making champions out of them from their Baja racing experiences. It's this kind of effort of the top Pro Moto Unlimited teams that keep moto racing alive in this sport. People like Giovanni Spinali who also has mentored champions with his HERO racing program and team, also helps to teach young and talented riders the importance of training, winning in Baja, and giving back to the people there who need it most. We also honor the legends who began this tradition of mentoring the next riders, as well as bring into focus SCORE's efforts in making races safer for our moto and quad racers on the course.
