STARLINK MOUNTING SOLUTIONS
SwarfWorks Starlink Mount
By SCORE Journal Staff
With more teams running a Starlink system for precise vehicle tracking, internet connection, and more, SCORE races needed a more secure and efficient way to mount the Starlink to their vehicle’s roof during a race, then remove it when it’s not in use.
SwarfWorks came up with a simple solution and created a convenient mount that attaches to the factory third-brake light mounting points. It allows the Starlink to be securely attached for the tough off-road conditions faced by crews in chase trucks. Made from heavy-duty steel plate, the system also has provision for a radio antenna mount and has precision laser-cut bolt holes that match to the existing factory holes to avoid any drilling or cutting into the factory cab.
SwarfWorks also makes a premium third-brake light replacement housing that is CNC machined and has a precise fit that matches the surface of the vehicle’s cab. The SwarfWorks third-brake light houses Baja Designs S2 lights and can also come equipped for a factory rearview camera, and a mount for a Starlink. This new system also has a plug-and-play wiring harness for ease of use and has additional antenna mounts. More information on SwarfWorks products can be found on their website, www.swarfworks.com.
