SCORE INTERNATIONAL DAY IN ENSENADA, BAJA, MEXICO The first Saturday in June is designated as “SCORE INTERNATIONAL DAY” in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. In 2023 the Ensenada City Council unanimously voted to proclaim that the first Saturday in June as ‘SCORE International Day,” when the race celebrated its 50th anniversary. The celebration happens during SCORE Contingency day of the SCORE Baja 500 on the Boulevard Costero in downtown Ensenada. According to city government officials, each SCORE race attracts an average of 150,000 visitors and produces an estimated $12 million over a 20-day period as it generates a 95 percent hotel occupancy rate, and brings a wide value chain from city-wide services. SCORE races are promoted nationally and internationally through television, traditional media, and social media. In 2017, the Ensenada City Council approved the designation of Ensenada as the ‘Off-Road Racing Capital of the World.’ $20K TO SCORE BAJA 500 OVERALL WINNER ON BFG TIRES At the 2026 BFGoodrich Tires 58 SCORE Baja 500, June 3-7th, BFGoodrich Tires will award $20k to the racer who wins Overall on BFGoodrich Tires.
