SCORE JOURNAL 31 BAJA NEWS Every September, Ensenada becomes the meeting point for one of the most passionate off-road communities in the world. Race trucks roll into town. Teams fine-tune their machines. Chase crews prepare for hundreds of miles of rugged terrain. Fans arrive from across the border, and the streets begin to feel different. For racers and fans, race week is part of the tradition. Ensenada comes alive with the sounds of engines, the movement of race teams, and the energy of visitors who return year after year. Tech and Contingency bring the action into the city, giving fans the chance to see the vehicles up close and experience the anticipation before race day. But once the trucks are parked, there's another side of Ensenada waiting to be discovered. The city sits between the Pacific Ocean and the mountains, making it an ideal base for exploring Baja California beyond the racecourse. Spend the morning watching the action. Walk along the waterfront in the afternoon. Catch a Pacific sunset before heading out for dinner. In Baja, the race and the destination are never far apart. The SCORE Baja 400 brings competitors into the landscapes that have made Baja California legendary: mountains, desert, rocky washes, fast sections, and terrain that can change everything in a matter of miles. But the Baja 400 is more than 400 miles of racing. The experience starts long before the green flag. Baja 400: The Race Before the Finish Line Race Week, Baja Style Then comes race day
