We support associations across the country with resources and guidance to help provide a great experience for players and families. PLAYER DEVELOPMENT The American Development Model gives associations and coaches an age-appropriate approach to helping young players have fun, build skills and confidence, and grow their love of the game. COACHES, OFFICIALS AND PARENTS An enjoyable hockey experience begins with great leadership. USA Hockey provides education and resources for coaches, officials and parents so everyone can play a positive role in a young athlete's journey. KEEPING THE GAME SAFE AND WELCOMING We are committed to helping create a hockey environment where players can feel safe, supported and welcome. That includes education, standards and programs focused on player safety and the well-being of everyone involved in the game. CONNECTING COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY USA Hockey supports the game from youth hockey through junior, adult and disabled hockey, helping connect players and communities at every stage. The organization serves as the National Governing Body for ice hockey in the United States and its teams represent the country at international competition, including at the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and world championships. No matter the level, it all starts in the same place: at the rink, in local communities and with people who love the game.
