For some, the finish line is the destination.
In Baja, it is just the beginning.
For decades, racers have come to Baja California to test
themselves against the desert. They come for the speed, the
dust, the long miles, and the terrain that has made this peninsula
a legend in off-road racing.
But there is another side of Baja waiting beyond the racecourse.
Once the engines are off and the trucks are back in the pits, the
landscape is still there. The Pacific is still moving. The trails are
still open. The vineyards are waiting. The seafood is fresh, the
beer is cold, and there is always another road to explore.
That is the beauty of Baja California.
You don't have to experience it at race speed.
Sometimes, the best way to know Baja is to slow down.
The race ends. Baja doesn't.
