I
n the countryside of Żurrieq, Stephanie Busuttil has
created a little world of her own. Beyond the gate,
beehives sit at the bottom of the hill, while herbs and
wildflowers grow in rows leading up to the house. Inside,
the kitchen is where much of the magic happens, with oils,
flowers and herbs being turned into handmade soaps, balms
and salves.
A DIFFERENT TAKE ON THE
PRICKLY PEAR
Emily A. Francis visits Stephanie

Żurrieq to discover how locally grown
herbs, flowers and prickly pears are
transformed into handmade soaps and
natural skincare products.
