Boilermakers Brief Second-Quarter Spurt Not Enough
Badgers have their way with Purdue, again
No. 24 Wisconsin 41,
Purdue 10
Sept. 21, 2013, Camp Randall Stadium
Madison, Wis.
Less than a minute after
Henry's touchdown, Ricardo
Allen looked for a moment
like he was going to tie the
NCAA record with his fifth
career pick-six. His 27-yard
interception return gave the
Boilermakers possession at the
Badger 10 but Purdue had to
settle for a field goal to cut the
Wisconsin advantage to 14-10.
It was the ninth interception
of Allen's career, tying him
for eighth all-time in school
history.
Rob Henry scored his sixth rushing touchdown and longest of his career on this impromptu
22-yard run with 11:59 left in the second quarter. The senior quarterback made the most of a
broken play to beat the Badgers to the end zone. It was also his longest rush from scrimmage
since 2010, when he had a 67-yarder in a victory at nationally ranked Northwestern.
