DRUM & 28 guestlist.net BASS / DUBSTEP EVENT PREVIEW HOSPITALITY BRIXTON ACADEMY Issue 56 / 2013 GUESTLIST RECOMMENDS: SPECTRASOUL Regarded by some as the record label that looks after our nation's audio health, Hospital Records has quickly become not only our nation's biggest drum and bass record label. 12th & 25th October and 9th November On the 27th of September, Hospitality took to the 02 Academy in Brixton with a lineup that was sure to create a buzz among the hundreds of "patients" in need of healthy drum and bass diagnosis. We were administered with large amounts of bass, an earful of drums and a healthy amount of tinnitus as a result of both. It's only natural to feel infected after a Hospitality night, because they're always SICK! The next Hospitality events will take place on the 12th and 25th of October and on the 9th of November. Get booking! EVENT PREVIEW IMAGINARIUM 8: PLANET OF THE RISING SUN If you are an avid lover of drum and bass or just have your ear to the ground of the Drum and Bass scene, you probably would have heard a few remixes by SpectraSoul Which have quite deservedly been attracting attention to the Brighton based duo; otherwise known as David Kennett and Jack Stevens. In 2012 their debut album Delay No More scored number 9 in mixmag's end-vof-year albums chart. However, the boys have been releasing tracks since way back in 2006. If you like your DnB deep, soulful and full of love, go check out their soundcloud right now. facebook.com/spectrasoul OCTOBER RELEASES The increasingly expanding rave night in Vauxhall's Club Union is yet again setting the standard for partying hard. 26th October This time, taking it's influence from Eastern Asia, Imaginarium undertook it's most daring mission yet; an away mission to the Planet of the Rising Sun, ruled by a population of elite assassins, deadly geishas and honourable Samurai. This was a top-secret mission to bring heavy basslines and rip-roaring Callen drum and bass to the inhabitants, all of whom were just as eager to get mashed up and kick some shapes aboard the starship Imaginarium. The next mission takes place on the 26th of October at the ALAWEEN Halloween party: Zombies Vs Commandos.
