WHATCHA READIN'? The ILTA community is filled with avid readers, and here are some of their recent recommendations. LAST LION: THE FALL AND RISE OF TED KENNEDY No matter what your political stance is, this is a good read. It gave me a sense of how passionate Senator Kennedy was, even if it was for things I didn't believe in myself. You have to respect someone who acts on what they believe in. — Brian Clayton of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP ROOM You hear news reports about children being born and raised in captivity, but I never could have imaged how that affects a child's perception of what the world is; what's real and what's imaginary? The author lets you experience this world through a five-year-old's eyes, which — when he doesn't know anything else — doesn't seem that bad. Very interesting read. — Kristy Cole, ILTA 88 Peer to Peer SCHNEIER ON SECURITY This is a book on the strengths and weaknesses of computer security. I bounce back-and-forth between technology-based and history-based books. I value both in my approach in trying to become the most innovative CIO I can be. — Brian Clayton of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP
