ADDING MORE The Big Ten continues to add active players to its list of 1,000-point career scorers, seemingly each week. Minnesota's Andre Hollins was the latest to join the list, reaching 1,000 on Dec. 20. He's now the 12th current active player in the league with that achievement and the seventh player to reach it this season. games to five with 15 minutes against the Miami Heat last week. Moore's been a solid contributor for the team, though he missed a prime opportunity to help the Magic get a victory earlier in the week against Cleveland. With Orlando leading by two with 9.3 seconds remaining, Moore missed two free throws, and the Cavaliers won in overtime. Moore had missed only two free throws all season before those two misses — having made 19 of 21 entering the game. Moore's shooting 84 percent from the line now, to go with 6.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in nearly 20 minutes per game. Robbie Hummel, the only other active Purdue player in the league, has played sparingly for the Timberwolves. His most recent outing was a seven-minute effort against the Thunder in which he had two rebounds and missed his only shot attempt. On the season, Hummel is averaging 2.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 10.8 minutes. j NBA UPDATE E' Twaun Moore continues to get doubledigit minutes for the Orlando Magic, extending his streak to such GOLDANDBLACK EXPRESS • VOLUME 24, EXPRESS 15 • 11
