Diversity is also why we strive to showcase many different points of view at the event — some of which we may happen to agree with, some of which we may not agree with. In short, we believe that the more diverse inputs we incorporate into the event, the more compelling the event becomes. The MVMT House sessions are an important part of this effort to create more diversity at SXSW. An extension of what was termed as "Blacks in Tech" programming at the 2013 SXSW Interactive Festival, these sessions cover a range of issues central to African Americans who are working in the digital creative space. LATINOS IN TECHNOLOGY TRACK: MARCH 7–MARCH 9 Holiday Inn Town Lake: 20 N IH 35: Sunflower & Lantana Ballrooms At SXSW Interactive we operate off a few fundamental principles, one of those being the belief that a diverse community is a strong community. In-line with that pursuit, in 2014 we will be hosting the Latinos in Tech track. Latinos in Tech is a three-day-long program that showcases Latino talent and innova- tions in the tech and new media space. In its inaugural year, the LTT will ex- plore the impact of the Hispanic voice on tech and, in turn, the impact of tech on the Hispanic voice. This track will see a broad range of thought leaders and visionaries across all industries take the stage. From designers and developers to entrepreneurs and trendsetters, these speakers will help raise awareness about tech innovations both in and outside of the US.
