Film & Interactive Convergence INTERACTIVE GOES TO THE MOVIES SXSW Film Festival screenings are a fulfilling way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the conference. Don't have a Gold or Platinum badge and want to catch a film? Single admission tickets are available at the door for all SXSW Film Festival screenings (pending capacity). THE DIGITAL DOMAIN SXSW Film presents the latest web series, interactive documentaries, rich media projects, data visualizations, web-generated content and much more. The Digital Domain runs Saturday, March 8 through Tuesday, March 11 in the Austin Suite of the Austin Convention Center. THE DAY STAGE IN BALLROOM G With special programming from both the Film and Interactive conferenc- es, the Day Stage in Ballroom G (on the 4th floor of the Austin Convention Center) is the best place to catch enlightening interviews, mind-bending workshops, inspiring book readings and intriguing film trailers in one place. NEXT GENERATION CONTENT & DISTRIBUTION IN ROOM 18ABCD Running Friday, March 7 through Tuesday, March 11, Room 18ABCD in the Austin Convention Center contains sessions that showcase the ever- increasing convergence between the Film, Interactive and Music industries with a special focus on the latest content & distribution tech. NEW FOR 2014: SXSPORTS JOINS THE FILM & INTERACTIVE LINEUP This sports-focused micro-event takes place Friday, March 7 through Sun- day, March 9 at The Driskill Hotel (with some featured sessions in Ballroom D of the Austin Convention Center). Incorporating film screenings, panel elements and networking events, SXsports touches on all aspects of sports through the SXSW lens of cultural impact, entertainment and innovation. Film, Interactive & Music: Convergence Tuesday We're offering Music, Film and Interactive attendees a taste of the SXSW Platinum badge experience with what we call "Convergence Day." Only on Tuesday, March 11, the 4th floor of the Austin Convention Center will be open to all SXSW badges. With featured Interac- tive and Film sessions, as well as the first day of Music conference programming—you won't want to miss out. IT TAKES A VILLAGE The SXSW Music Startup Village brings together the startups, entrepreneurs, investors and digital tastemakers within the SXSW Music Conference. Located on the 4th floor of the Downtown Austin Hilton, this space showcases the various music-related startup events on Tuesday, March 11. INTERACTIVE + FILM + MUSIC = EPIC MEET UPS On Tuesday, March 11, various Interactive Meet Up venues are open to Music and Film attendees to maximize opportunities for connection.
