The 21st edition of the infa- mous Rototom Sunsplash festival by the beach is a must for your summer plans. Sun, swim, smoke and smile during the day time and execute some serious skanking from the early evening onwards. As one of the biggest Reg- gae festivals in the world, Rototom has a lot to of- fer; from art and music workshops, to great food and even interesting talks at the Reggae Univer- sity Camp and, of course, excellent music with the greatest Reggae artists of the last few decades. This year's edition wel- comes old school roots masters such as The Gladi- ators, The Twinkle Broth- ers, Alpha Blondy and Jimmy Cliff to bring you back to the golden age of reggae. Fresh, new and emerging talent will certainly not be underep- resented, with names on the list such as Luciano, Easy Star All-Stars, Ra- phael and Collie Buddz. On the sound-system side of things, 'Roots Ambassa- dor' Jah Youth, Dubkasm ft. dancehall champion Solo Banton, Kanka and Stand High Patrol ft. Pupa- jim will blast your ears with heavy bass to spread the good vibes. ELECTRIC ELEPHANT EEF is set within a dramatic natu- ral amphitheatre, which over- looks a beautiful sandy bay with crystal clear water and islands on the horizon. Simply breathtak- ing! You can spend the day on the beach with a cold beer or a cocktail, then head to the crazy dancefloors for the whole night. This year's edition will be from July the 10th until the 14th, and its line-up will feature impressive DJs such as Derrick May, Fran- cois K, Chez Damier, Horse Meat Disco and many, many others. Oh yeah, there's also a boat party which is said to be legendary. Come ON Board! Electric Elephant Festival takes place in the stunning surroundings of The Gar- den Tisno, Croatia. MELT! FESTIVAL Described by the organisers as 'Electronic meets Rock', this wonder- fully diverse and creative celebration has prevailed as a haven for lovers of all kinds of music.
