Editor's Letter
e idyllic days of summer are finally here but not without a large share of
excitement amid blue skies and bright sunshine that filters through the
magnificent Italianate home on our cover. Experience the penultimate in this
lovely home, and in others shimmering within our pages.
And speaking of sunshine, in this issue we also shine the spotlight on the much
anticipated Art Southampton Show, one of the biggest events of the cultural
season along with the upcoming International Jewellery London 2014 event,
where the most influential jewelry designers in the world will be showcased;
you will surely be dazzled by the exquisite finery at both. In case you adore ultra
collectible motors that purr, come to Monterey, California in August for RM
Auction's world-class event. But before you depart review some insights on
"How to Invest in Classic Cars" from Peter Haynes (page 104).
As many have begun the annual pilgrimage to their summer houses, we invite
you to visit some of our favorite summer destinations beginning on page 225.
First stop, mingle with the crème de la crème in Monaco. en we depart to
the Topping Rose House, the newest gem in boutique hotels in the Hamptons.
A quick meander over to the ever-chic destination of Newport and the elegant
Forty 1° North along the shore, cross the Atlantic to London, and finally we hit
a red hot party in Ibiza. A yen for traveling never really let's go of one's soul and
whether it is traveling on a jet, or your own yacht to mingle with likeminded
friends and family, Private Air always wishes you happy traveling.
Lastly, I'd like to say that as our publication evolves, we have created a platform
that continues to deliver elegance, style, and luxury. We thank both our readers
and advertisers for making Private Air Luxury Homes a resounding success –
such a success that we will launch Private Air New York this summer!
Sincerely Yours,
Regina Russo
