YOUR NEW SINGLE WITH WILEY IS OUT NOW. WHAT HAVE YOU AIMED FOR IT? I don't believe there is a specific aim other than the song in mind, Maybe some people do, maybe some major corporations do, but at this stage of my career I am just having fun creating music, I didn't create BUS PASS with an aim of making it a single, or making it the summer jump off record. HOW DID THE COLLABORATION WITH WILEY COME ABOUT? We knew each other from way back when I was part of So Solid and he was on the dark side! LOL… Anyhow when we linked up again at Fire On The Beach 2012 it was a re-ignition of the old days but in a more mature and open minded manner, we linked up again in 2013 and thats when we decided to do the track, WHAT MADE YOU TURN TO MORE OF A DANCE GENRE FOR THIS SONG COMPARED TO YOUR PREVIOUS GRIME WORK? Bus Pass is the first page from the main stream A.M. SNiPER, know a lot of acts fear to tread in the mainstream grounds but it's just another lane I wanted to be involved in, we live in Club Land so it made sense, EDM with an edge is what I can bring to the table… or stage! It doesn't mean you wont be hearing me on grime and hip hop tracks it's just another side. WHERE CAN PEOPLE FIND YOU PERFORMING THE NEW SONG THIS SUMMER? August will be a mad one where outside of Ayia Napa I am doing some summer resorts, it's a good build up to my first ever HOLIDAY tour… As an artist I developed a unique platform in Ayia Napa and as you know 30,000 plus perry goers change over every few days so the reach and the connection with people coming to Ayia Napa is amazing to build up a brand before a major tour, it HOW WOULD YOU SAY YOUR LIFE HAS CHANGED SINCE THE SPLIT OF SO SOLID CREW? Maybe the public perceived it as a split, it was never a split, the unity never broke, the deal with the labels finished in a way where we felt they didn't commit to us for the long run and we decided to keep developing in other avenues, So Solid lives in every Urban artist that followed after it, it lives in the UK and with every activity and breath this URBAN scene takes. CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT SOME OF THE PROJECTS YOU'VE BEEN WORKING ON? The culture is influenced by what is out there, we have the opportunity and the blessing to influence the music culture on the island, the activity and events and of course help charity, and organizations of people that have been deprived of their homes during the 1974 issues. WHAT OTHER SPECIFICALLY MUSICAL PROJECTS DO YOU HAVE IN THE PIPELINE? I have some exciting collaborations with artists on both sides of the Atlantic but we can talk about them when the releases approach so we can save some conversations for the future, I definitely have a few more singles and like I mentioned the debut album / pre-album! WHAT HAS BEEN ONE OF THE CRAZIEST EXPERIENCES PLAYING MUSIC? This summer when we did the show I asked for Fire Works, so my production team went all out, but they could have warned me! They just said before the show… "When you say 4th July the fireworks will go off!" So there I am on my encore track of BUS PASS as a last track and I say 4th July and literally the stage lit up, I couldn't breathe I felt I was going to pass out, but I had to just stand there pretending to have fun. To top that off I had bra thrown at me during the fire works so I was trying to figure out if I could use the cup of the bra as a breathing mask, but then again you never know where a bra has been and inhaling that could have caused me some more damage. YOU'VE GOT A BIG REPUTATION IN NAPA, WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT THE PLACE? I think the freedom of the sound, you get to hear music which is not part of the same 10 songs you hear everywhere else every week. But there is always a need for a platform to breed new music, and especially for the UK urban sound, platforms are being eliminated every day, so Ayia Napa plays a small part in that, and working hard to make it play a bigger part is definitely one of my many ambitions.
