CONTACTLESS CARD : A NEW PAY-AS-YOU-GO CARD, WILL REVOLU- TIONIZE YOUR CITY'S TRANSPORTS With this new Contactless which has a function on some debit, credit and pre-paid cards you will be able to make an easy pay- ment for goods or services with- out having to enter your pin, if the amount is about £20 or less. From Tuesday September 16th, it has become possible to use a contactless payment card on London tube,Docklands Light Railway (DLR), tram, London overground and most National Rail services in the capital. This system has been already used on London buses for more than a year now. It's new easiest and fastest way to pay for the means of trans- port, you use. All you have to do is tap your contactless card over the yellow card reader to make the payment. This will charge you with a pay-as-you-go fare when you touch in and out on readers at the start and end of your journey. A golden retriever named Bretagna was one of the rescuer of the terrible 9/11 disaster. This September she and her trainer has returned to Ground Zero, after they both tried to help the victims trapped under the collapsed buildings thirteen years ago, an emotional visit through tragic memories. Bretagna is now 15: she retired at 8 after helping during disasters like hurricanes Katrina and Rita. She now helps children learn to read . Earlier this year, Bretagna was selected as a one of the eight finalists of the Hero Dog Awards by the American Humane Association, recognized for her work in the 9/11 relief effort.
