Their name derives from the Charles Baudelaire's novel "La Fan- farlo". They use different music instruments such as violin, mandolin, trumpet, musical saw, clarinet and saxophone in order to produce an incredible mix of sounds and vibes. Since the beginning of their career together, they have re- leased three albums and one EP. In the latest years their popularity has increased thanks to the presence of their song Atlas in the soundtrack of the Twilight saga: Eclipse and two other songs, "Fire Escape" and "I'm a Pilot" fea- tured in the TV-series, House and Chuck. Their sound is original and unique because of their capability to unify a large range of vibes from different music genres without becoming too noisy or confusing. In 2014 they released their latest album called Let's go Extinct which explores a difficult theme: Evolution. After listening to it, we can defi- nitely say that they were well inspired! Give them a chance, they deserve it! GUESTLIST RECOMMENDS FANFARLO More @ guestlist.net/indie Fanfarlo are a London-based band formed by the Swedish musician, Samuel Balthazar in 2006. Tickets are still available online. EVENT PREVIEW MORISSEY Morissey is set to play at London 02 Arena at the end of November for his European tour. EVENT REVIEW IMOGEN HEAP - REVERB The event celebrated the innovative uses of musi- cal technology. Imogen Heap returned to perform promoting her new con- cept album, Sparks which has come out on August 18th,such a great achieve- ment for her career. At 7, Leafcutter John started the concert with his music built through light. Then Imogen arrived, with her beautiful belly(she is preg- nant!) she started with one of her most intimate songs: Lifeline. Roundhouse got warmer and warmer. For each song she explained the story behind it and she used her Mi.mu gloves to help make her music. Imo- gen is so smart, funny and intense. Her voice is as pow- erful as our memory could recall. The concert was just what each fan could have asked for. On Sunday 24th August, Imogen Heap closed the Reverb mini-festival at Camden's Roundhouse. @02 Arena Wednesday, October 29th, 2014 @Roundhouse Sunday, August 24, 2014
