Airstrip ready in 2015 for improved accessibility In the meantime, PT Jababeka is ploughing through with its development plans to improve accessibility to Tanjung Lesung. "With government support, we have already widened the road. More importantly, we are building an airstrip in Tanjung Lesung to cater to private chartered aircrafts." The 1.2km airstrip will be completed by early 2015. With the newly built airstrip, visitors can now fl y from Halim airport and Cengkareng airport cutting travelling time to just 35 minutes. In the long term, a new Panimbang airport will also be built and a new 83km toll road constructed to ease congestion in the future. Attracting Koreans, Chinese and Europeans So far, Tanjung Lesung has been attracting visitors from within Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.
