It's always exciting to review the latest perfor- mance parts to hit the market. From race products to items for street motors, innovation and imagina- tion are constantly moving the industry forward. To help in your search for the perfect go-fast part, the following are some of the latest engine compo- nents to hit the aftermarket. Check them out and let the excitement begin. Damper Upgrades Fluidampr, Springville, New York, presents its complete line of Performance Dampers that offer quality and durability upgrades for modified engines. The dampers provide proven viscous technology commonly found as original equipment in exotic sports cars and premium diesel trucks. Race-proven since 1985 and available for popular domestic, import and diesel applications, the dampers meet SFI 18.1 specifications and are made in the USA. Offset Sportsman Solid Roller Lifters COMP Cams, Memphis, Tennessee, offers its Offset Sportsman Solid Roller Lifters for Chevrolet applications. The premium components are designed for Sportsman and professional racing, along with high-end street machines. The lifters come in both needle bearing or bushing configurations and are available with either left or right offset pushrod seats. Each rebuildable design features two pressurized EDM oil feeds as well as an edge-orifice feed to the wheel. They are designed with a shallower oil band for increased strength and rigidity. Honing Machine Sunnen Products Co., St. Louis, introduces its new SH- 4000 all-digital, servo- stroke Honing Machine for prototype to production volumes. The Horizontal SH-4000 offers servo- precise, digitally repeatable performance, intuitive touchscreen HMI, infinite part program storage, larger workpiece capacity and operator-friendly safety features. It is engineered as an easy- to-use, flexible hone for medium to high production of parts with bore diameters from 1.5mm to 102mm (0.060 to 6.50 inches). It is capable of processing a wide variety of part sizes and configurations. Engine Bearings MAHLE Aftermarket, Farmington Hills, Michigan, offers its MAHLE Clevite TriMetal Engine Bearings. The Clevite TriMetal engine bearings design incorporates the strength of a copper-lead alloy layer on a precision steel back for as much as 40-percent better seizure resistance. Clevite engine bearings have been in the engine of every NASCAR champion since 1948.
