February 2015 n Performance & Hotrod Business n 17 Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Lifters Crane Cams, Daytona Beach, Florida, introduces its new Energizer Series of Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Lifters for high-performance street engine applica- tions. The lifters allow the conversion of early-model engines from a flat tappet design to the modern hydraulic roller valvetrain system; providing a reduction in friction and an increased rpm range with enhanced horsepower and torque. With no machining usually required, the tie-bar-design lifters are an easy drop-in conversion. GM LT1 Gen V Cylinder Heads Racing Head Service (RHS), Memphis, Tennessee, presents its new Pro Elite GM LT1 Gen V Cylinder Heads. Bred from racing, the heads feature optimized valve locations, an increased valve size and custom port profiles for increased flow for LT1s. Reinforced rocker rails accept popular aftermarket shaft-rocker systems, while larger-than- stock spring pockets allow for more aggressive valvetrain packages. A bolt-on design lets users run all stock pieces and LS front-accessory-mounting holes are included for easy use with LS front drive components. Chevy Big Block Heads Trick Flow, Tallmadge, Ohio, offers its PowerPort 365 Cylinder Heads for big- block Chevrolet engines. The aluminum cylinder heads offer a combination of big flow and cost effectiveness, and are designed to extract as much power as possible for racing applications. They feature Trick Flow's CNC Competition Ported runners—a top-of-the-line CNC machining process that gives the run- ners a smooth, high-resolution finish to maximize airflow. Peak airflow is 424 cfm intake/337 cfm exhaust at 0.900 inches of valve lift.
