32 INDIE / ROCK guestlist.net Issue 72 / 2015 We've been waiting for another album since 2011, and it's finally on its way! How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, the third from the group, will be released on June 1. The eponymous track and the soaring, stomping 'What Kind Of Man', complete with cinematic video, have already been gifted to us, and hearing Welch's unmistakeable vocals again is getting us ridiculously excited for the album. The group are touring the summer festival circuit, and are rumoured to be headlining Glastonbury – we can't wait to see what Flo pulls out of her hat! Artist Of the MOnth flOrence + the MAchine Florence + the Machine finally release details of new album A blend of electronic, folk and rock, Gallows Ghost deliver big chorus hooks, driving bass lines, strings and beats, and haunting vocals courtesy of frontwoman Kate Young. Their EP Arrows perfectly showcases the band's hard and dark edge. Flamboyant and theatrical, the band delight the eyes as well as the ears, often raiding the dressing up box for their live performances and videos. Gallows Ghost are launching their EP with a full live gig at Hoxton Bar & Grill on February 25th. Following a successful 2014, which saw the band spend the summer playing festivals and win critical acclaim for their third studio album Lost In The Dream, The War On Drugs embark on a UK tour. This tour sees the band take it up a notch, playing big stages like the 02 Academy Brixton (24th Feb and 2nd March). The hazy, haunting soundscape that Adam Granduciel and co have created only sounds more impressive in the flesh, so you really could be witness to something special with these shows.
