18 ENGINE PERFORMANCE BOOSTERS 12 12 12 DAILEY Dry Sumps And Billet Oil Pans Without question, oiling is a paramount part of keeping high- power LS-based off-road machines moving forward toward the finish line. Dailey Engineering offers a Dry Sump Oil Pumps for LS based engines, that are available in a standard and small-pump design. Introduced in 2001, the small pump design has a housing body size of just 2.4-inch x 2.7-inch with a weight reduction of 33 percent over our current standard size oil pumps. Roots style rotors are used in the scavenge sections for both style pumps, while bronze spur gears are used for the pressure section. Drive and idler shafts are made from heat treated alloy steel and precision ground to run in ball bearings front and rear, with Teflon bushings supporting the inner loads to minimize the rotating friction. Precision ground stainless steel studs are used as dowel pin alignment for a compact MSD PERFORMANCE Blaster Coil for LS Engines MSD Performance has expanded their Blaster Coil offerings for late-model applications with a new coil for the popular GM LS engine platform. MSD Blaster LS Coils are based on the OEM form and fit, but have been engineered with improved materials resulting in better efficiency of the coil, promoting durability and endurance. The coils bolt on to the factory coil brackets as well as most aftermarket brackets and accept the factory sealed and locking connector. The MSD Blaster Coils are available for a number of LS-based engines ranging from the original LS1 to the high powered LS9 and several truck- and off-road specific applications.
