20 FESTIVALS guestlist.net Issue 74 / 2015 OutlOOk Festival's next wave is next level! Returning for its 8th season in Croatia, Outlook Festival has just announced its second wave of artists for 2015! Uniting the very best performers across dub, reggae, hip-hop, drum & bass, garage, grime, dubstep, house, techno and electronica, Outlook is a hand-picked curation of the world's taste-making icons and music and cultural pioneers. Madlib is a true living legend, and is bringing some of his favourite producers and DJs - Pete Rock, J Rocc and Moodymann – together for The Madlib Carnival. Over on the house and techno tip, UK underground leaders Dusky will grace the festival and Lone will deliver his lauded techno and house. Radio 1's Toddla T brings further genre-spanning sounds to Outlook, with plenty of bass and bounce, and pioneer of good times, Norman Jay MBE brings some party-time funk to Croatia. Shy FX leads the drum & bass charge, with the amazing Congo Natty feat. Congo Dubz and Tenor Fly bringing the jungle vibes. Loefah, along with his partners, Mala and Coki have dubstep on lock, and heavyweight crew the Newham Generals bring crowd-rocking grime. Shogun Records' founder Icicle brings Entropy LIVE to Outlook, and will have Fort Punta Christo shaking with his relentless drum and bass. Seminal dubstep DJ and producer Hatcha joins Artful Dodger are in charge of 2-step garage, and Canadian trio BADBADNOTGOOD bring their spellbinding retro fusion to Croatia. Bright talent Kate Tempest adds the edge, and the notorious Soulection crew are sure to take Outlook to a different level. Found Presents: Born & Bred hits Haggerston Park on Saturday 6th June. Festival kings Found launch a new series to celebrate "true London sounds forged in the Big Smoke". Born & Bred, which takes over Haggerston Park on Saturday 6th June, will be London through and through – the line-up is packed full of artists who define their respective scenes and represent our city on a global scale. Wiley headlines the main stage, with support from legends like Goldie, Channel One Sound, and Digital Mystikz. Moxie and The Heatwave also play the big stage, as does Joker, who will be performing The Mainframe live. The Swamp81 stage features the likes of Benton, Klose One, Loefah, MC Chunky, Paleman, and Youngsta. Just Jam go grime heavy on the third arena, with Newham Generals, Logan Sama, Spyro, T.Williams and more set to tear up the festival. Finally fashion institution Wavey Garms are bringing the old school with names like Foundation & MC Creed, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Artful Dodger, and Oxide & Neutrino on their very own stage. For a big hit of bass from the Big Smoke, Born & Bred is where it's at. FOund gOes undergrOund
