THE WOLVERINE 2015 FOOTBALL PREVIEW ■ 73 WIDE RECEIVERS PLAYER BIOS POSITION COACH Jedd Fisch, in his first season with the Wolverines, is entering his 17th year as a football coach. He is Michigan's new passing game coordinator, quar- terbacks coach and wide receivers coach. He comes to Ann Arbor after two years as the offensive coordina- tor for the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars, whose roster included former U-M quarterbacks Denard Robinson and Chad Henne. Fisch oversaw Robinson's 582 yards rushing on 135 tries (4.3 yards per attempt) be- fore his season ended due to an injury. Fisch in 2014 guided first-year quarterback Blake Bortles, who completed 58.9 percent of his passes and garnered almost 3,000 yards passing in 13 starts. Prior to joining the Jaguars, Fisch served as the offensive coordinator for the University of Miami in 2011-12, and coached at the Univer- sity of Minnesota as offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach in 2009. Otherwise, he's spent most of his time in the NFL, with the Houston Texans (2001-03), Baltimore Ravens (2004-07), Denver Broncos (2008) and Seattle Seahawks (2010). Fisch coached the wide receivers for the Broncos and quarterbacks with the Seahawks, before moving into a coordinator role in college and then the NFL.
