S P E C I A L A D V E R T I S I N G S E C T I O N Even as a child, dresscode owner Amy Finegold was obsessed with clothing and jewelry. Family trips to Europe reinforced her interest in fashion, leading her to major in French and Art History in college and to pursue retail once she graduated. She was always passionate about wanting to open a store, so she chose to work for talented owners of independent boutiques in Boston. When she met her husband, Barry, she moved to his home town of Andover. With his encouragement, she realized her dream and opened dresscode in 2004. Almost 11 years later, she still feels lucky to do something she loves every day. Her favorite part is to personally style every person that walks in - try to assess who they are, what they need, and find them things that they didn't even know they were looking for. For Amy, there's nothing better than the adrenaline rush of making someone feel wonderful about themselves - to see them walk out of the fitting room standing a little taller with a huge smile on their face. It's then that Amy knows she has accomplished her goal - of making someone still feel like themselves, only better. She loves clean lines and quality clothing that will stand the test of time and pieces with a unique twist that stand out but don't scream. Her advice for creating the "perfect" closet - if you put something on and then take it off, clearly it doesn't make you feel amazing, and it should go. The end game: You have a closet with go-to pieces that really flatter your shape, enhance your style and make you feel confident when you walk out your door. And if she can't find it, these days Amy's going to make it, with her own dresscode line! dresscode FA S H I O N S T Y L I S T A M Y F I N E G O L D D R E S S C O D E 2 E L M S Q U A R E , A N D OV E R , M A 0 1 8 1 0 9 7 8 - 47 0 - 0 3 0 0 D R E S S C O D E @ D R E S S C O D E S T Y L E .C O M Jen Stern, a master at her craft.
