Combining the native printer driver with our professional ICC profile (Mac and PC support) has been the traditional approach to printing with ArTainium Ink-based Epson printers. This is also our preferred solution for the Ricoh dye-sub printers. This approach to printing offers maximum compatibility with applications and provides access to all driver features including Epson's amazing Layout Man- ager. The native driver is supported under Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 in 32 and 64 bit. Epson has an excellent track record of supporting new versions of Win- dows and Mac quickly (the color profiles remain the same). Mac support is from 10.5 and greater but appears to work with the older 10.4 version. Power Driver (PC) is Sawgrass' tradi- tional SubliJet Ink solution. PowerDriver is a virtual print driver that performs its own color management duties and then delivers the print job to the Epson driver for printing. Think of a Wasatch RIP (PC) as a stand- alone printer driver on steroids. RIPS are the choice of professionals when it comes to driving big printers.
