A mash-up of reggae, soul and R&B, the record sees Kali twist and taunt any man who dares underestimate her. We highly recommend checking out the video as well, which she directed herself in her hometown. As she said, "'Ridin Round' is about accepting your past and everything you are, even the not so good parts. I wanted to highlight where I'm from (in Colombia), my culture, and real people." GuEStLiSt REcommENdS KALi uchiS The Colombian singer, songwriter and producer drops 'Ridin Round' After a stellar year featuring debut sets at Reading/Leeds, Bestival and Wireless Festival, supporting titans of reggae, The Wailers, last year on their UK tour, and sharing the stage with legendary DJ David Rodigan, it's fair to say that Kiko Bun is on quite the ride. Unsurprisingly, expectations are huge for the new talent who's signed with Island Records. With his own rescheduled UK tour due to kick off next month at The Blue's Kitchen in Brixton, the half- Italian, half-Panamanian artist is gaining exactly the kind of coverage needed to excel in the reggae game, like getting playlisted on Radio 1. He certainly has the voice for it, with his old school reggae vibes clearly drawing influence from the king himself, Bob Marley. Recently he announced on Twitter that he has been in the recording studio with electronic duo Chase and Status and producer/DJ Shy FX, and cooking up some magic with MNEK down at Red Bull, so there is no doubt that big things are on the horizon for the talented Londoner. Gyptian's latest hit tune 'All On Me' continues to climb UK and U.S. radio charts on Top 40, Urban and Rhythmic radio, and now, Lady Leshurr, one of the hottest rappers in the country, has jumped on the wicked new remix, produced by Dutch wizard Diztortion (known for his hits with UK artists like Stylo G, Lethal Bizzle and Tinie Tempah). Leshurr has said that her childhood was soundtracked by Bob Marley and Sister Nancy, so it's no surprise she's getting in on the reggae action.
