The prolific New Wave lead singer of Adam and the Ants is co-curating an exciting photography and live music event at the original Proud Galleries in Camden. This insightful collection explores the evolution of Adam Ant's flamboyant stage persona, including portraits of the artist and group shots with his original band. This will all be in support of a good cause – all proceeds raised from the event will be donated to the national charity DebRA, which supports those suffering from Epidermolysis Bullosa and their families. FOR THE FINEST DRUM N BASS SUBMIT @ Plan B, Brixton Saturday 24th March This might only be SUBMIT's second event, but after the success of the launch in January, they're back at Plan B for another rowdy affair. Shogun Audio's premier crossover sensation Icicle will be in attendance alongside three of the genre's long-standing luminaries that form the London-based production outfit Blu Mar Ten. Switching up the styles, there's also a choice lineup of dubstep and bass music producers with J:Kenzo, Soap Dodgers and Martin Kemp also featuring. A tantalising assortment of sounds all under one roof! FOR THE FINEST DUBSTEP Licked Beatz @ Cable Friday 30th March Celebrating their 2nd birthday, Licked Beatz will be taking over Cable from 10pm til 6am on Friday 30th March. They're bringing together some of the finest names that dubstep has to offer. Performing in all three of Cable's rooms, these artists are really pushing the boundaries of bass music. They include Goldie & Lowqui, Hatcha & Crazy D plus Hype Man Sage hosting along- side many others. This is Licked Beats' biggest event yet. So if you're into your Dubstep, Drum n Bass, Garage or Grime, this is where you need to be. FOR THE FINEST REGGAE, DUB Aswad @Islington Assembly Hall Saturday 31st March Starting at 7pm, this legendary British group will be perform- ing in London at the Islington Assembly Hall for one night only. What a great way to end the month! With ticket prices from £22.50 this is definitely one to make your way to! Aswad (from the original line-up right through to the current) have delivered on many aspects of the reggae genre, and we're anticipating that they'll perform a range of tunes from dub right through to commercial. FOR THE FINEST HIP-HOP Wiley @ The Garage Sunday 1th April The Godfather of Grime Richard Kylea Cowie, better known as Wiley, will be gracing The Garage in Highbury on April Fools Day. No fool himself, Wiley's legendary energy and huge back catalogue are sure to be in attendance. Support comes from acts such as Scorcher, Tempa T and Mz Bratt. This is an opportunity to see one of the originators of Grime in a rare solo performance, and no true fanatic should shrug at the opportunity to witness this authentic East London legend do his thing. FOR THE FINEST HOUSE Mulletover's 8th birthday @ Pulse Thursday 5th April Having been going strong for 8 years solid, Mulletover will be celebrating their birthday this year at Pulse on April 5th. To mark the occasion they'll be releasing their first ever commer- cially available compilation worth £10.99 in-store and personally mixed by the musical man in charge, Geddes. The CDs are available with a limited number of tickets and will be sent out by post after the event. As a special treat, Carl Craig will be present- ing 69 live with Maya Jane Coles, Efdemin and Geddes himself also making an appearance.
