20 | www.travelweekly-asia.com Philip Schaetz, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing BEST HOTEL CHAIN (REGIONAL) Dorsett Hospitality International Your thoughts on winning the award? We are extremely proud of the fact we won this prestigious Readers Choice Award by Travel Weekly. We only launched Dorsett Hospitality International three years ago during ITB Asia in 2012. To be awarded as Best Regional Hotel Chain in such little time is an endorsement to us that we are doing it right. The midscale market is underserviced in Asia and with Dorsett being truly Asian Hospitality in this segment seems to hit the nail on the head with what customers want these days. The one thing you want to do to improve your business in 2016? We take customer feedback very seriously and look at user generated comments in a very strategic way – in fact this is one of the important KPIs for our General Managers. Our scores are good but we want to push this needle even further to achieve our goal of being the preferred hotel brand in our segment.
