All in all, it's a stunning set of songs, which will more than confirm Telegram's early promise as one of the most exciting bands around right now. Formed just over two years ago, the Telegram line-up of Matt Saunders (vocals/guitar), Oli Paget-Moon (bass) and Jordan Cook (drums) have recently recruited new guitarist Pip Stakem to the fold. Effortlessly combining a love of Roxy, Barrett, krautrock and late proto-punk to great effect, they've built up an ever growing fanbase of critics and public alike, with extensive touring and a clutch of fantastic and much sought after seven inch singles. To coincide with the album release, Telegram have announced a UK Tour in February and March. The band kick off the twenty date run with a show on the 11th February at the Hare and Hounds in Birmingham and then finish up in London at Hackney's Moth Club in Hackney on 3rd March. ALBUM OF THE MONTH TELEGRAM - OPERATOR The London four-piece drop their debut LP on February 5th The indie dream team of Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner and The Rascals' Miles Kane has finally dropped some new material, and boy was it worth the wait. Big and brash, the boys are raising hell, particularly in the video directed by Ben Chappell. It's a promising start to their new LP, which we hope isn't too far off. Perhaps more new material will come out once they boys play Coachella in April. THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS - BAD HABITS The duo drop their first new music since 2008 The band's announcement came in the form of an open letter to fans written by frontman James Murphy, posted on the band's website. LCD Soundsytem called it quits after their farewell gig in 2011 in Madison Square Garden, but has gradually re-emerged in the past couple of years, with a Christmas song in 2015 and now, the announcement of their headline slot at Coachella 2016 and production of new material. In the letter, Murphy says: "we're not just playing coachella. sic we're playing all over. we're not just having some reunion tour. we're releasing a record". LCD Soundsystem has confirmed a 2016 tour and album NEWS LCD SOUNDSYSTEM TO RETURN WITH NEW ALBUM More @ guestlist.net/Indie
