14 SPRING 2016 Neil A. Landino, Jr Landino is a photographer based in Fairfield, Connecticut. Has traveled throughout the country photographing interiors and landscape architecture. His admiration of soft light and clean lines can be seen in the books Reflections on Swedish Interiors and The Landscape Designs of Doyle Herman Design Associates. "It's sophisticated, but it's lived in. It's rustic and it's warm. I like textures and I like layers. I'm a risk-taker when it comes to designing. I don't mind trying new things." "Typically we like to make it look like the new part was always there, so you don't even know it was an addition." Charlotte Roth Charlotte Roth is a freelance writer who grew up on the North Shore. She is a frequent contributor to Northshore magazine, and her work has been featured in a variety of other publications including Cape Cod Home. She writes on a number of subjects including home design, history, preservation, and "places and faces" north of Boston.
