ISSUE 86 / 20016 25 FESTIVALS LOST VILLAGE Set to hit the scene from 27th May to the 29th Lost Village Festival is back and bigger Hidden in the forest of Lincolnshire, it's a place of rumours and suspicion that you can only understand if you've been there. With a sweet line-up includingTom Misch, Catz N Dogz and Elder Island, as well as the many other activities including their Tribal Banquet and Lost Theatre, you'd have to be crazy not to want to go. SECRET SOLSTICE Three days of sunlight in Reykjavik Revellers will flock to Iceland's capital – Reykjavic – in June for Secret Solstice, a festival which the sun never sets on. The event's third edition will take place over June 17-16, 2016, over the summer solstice weekend – three days of full daylight, due to the city's proximity to the Arctic Circle. The festival's third phase lineup announcement included Radiohead in their Icelandic debut, Jamie Jones and Roisin Murphy. The festival features Into the Glacier 2016, a cave party within a glacier, in the cave system Langjökull. It also features the Secret Lagoon Party, a pool party in a volcano-powered geothermal pool. Bring on the sunshine. "Sonar is getting ready for its biggest year yet. Barcelona's Sonar 2016 recently announced the addition of 36 new artists to its already massive lineup. Divided into Sonar by day and Sonar by night, the festival takes place in multiple venues across the city. Added to the lineup are classical pianist James Rhodes, Swedish rapper Yung Lean, first lady of hip hop Lady Leshurr, as well as Nicola Cruz and Ata Kak. Sonar by night embraces UKG legend DJ EZ, Bicep, Soichi Terada, Ben Klock, Kerri Chandler and Ben UFO going back to back with Helen Hauff.
