Desolat was the place to be last Bank holiday weekend, and it didn't dis- appoint! The secret venue was The Loft Studios and it set the tone for one hell of a party, with its five inter-linking spaces and two large secluded court- yard's in a refurbished Victorian factory.

not been there in the early days, drum n bass may never have become what it is today. The experience of the DJs shone through in their sets at one of London's top venues and biggest sound systems. Nobody was leaving this one early. Fear not though, as Swerve holds a residency at Cable and will no doubt be returning to Saturdays later in the year.
HYPERDUB X DEVIATION @ BUSSEY BUILDING
New promoters Broken & Uneven presented one of the hottest parties this year so far at the warehouse, Bussey Building in Peck- ham. The line-up represent- ed some of our favourite DJs under one roof, includ- ing Benji B, Martyn, Omar S and Kode 9. The vibes were crazy and Dego's set was one of the highlights. An in- credibly sick night!
@ East Village Just Blaze is in the UK playing his only set here for 2012. So ex- pect something special as this Jersey born producer will be playing a soulful mixture of his own material and old classics.
