SCORE JOURNAL OFF-ROAD MARKETPLACE CAMBURG ENGINEERING RAPTOR A-ARMS Camburg's Raptor A-arms replace the factory lower arm, which provides the ability to run a secondary bypass shock for increased dampening. The A-arm PN-CAM-110111, also provides the ability to add a hydraulic/air bump-stop. The A-arms can be used with a Camburg FOX 3.0 bypass shock that is valved specifically for the Raptor with a custom bypass tube layout and configuration. This system allows for maximum useable wheel travel along with the correct shock motion ratio geometry. CAD designed, the Camburg A-arm for the Ford Raptor is considerably stronger than the OE stock unit. It also features internal gusseting and pivots on one-inch' PTFE lined uniballs at the frame. The A-arm also features a 1.50-inch PTFE lined uniball at the spindle for maximum strength and articulation rather than the factory ball-joint. No modification to the spindle is necessary as Camburg use machined heat-treated stainless steel mis-alignment spacers that adapt the uniball to the tapered ball-joint spindle hole. To attach the spindle the 1.50" uniball Camburg uses a Mil- Spec 21250 NAS 12-point aircraft bolt. These bolts are rated 180,000 psi minimum tensile strength and 108,000 psi minimum shear strength.
