SCORE'S PARKER ARIZONA RACE REVISITED

uring the 1997 SCORE International Off-Road
racing series, the first race of the season was
held in Parker, Arizona, where for 24 years prior,
the race was held here as a three-lap, 400-mile
race. In this episode of SCORE's Legends web
series, the excitement of the Parker Arizona
race is re-visited as much of the footage from the original
broadcast. Interviews from racing legends such as Curt
LeDuc, Larry Roeseler, Jerry Penhall, Parnelli Jones and
others explain why they loved the course and how they
dealt with the terrain, glare from the sun, and the dust.
