ISSUE 87 / 2016 25 FESTIVALS SECRET GARDEN PARTY ANNOUNCES NEW WAVE OF ACTS AND A RESTAURANT As well as that, they've announced a new festival restaurant called 'Milliways'. SGP is known for it's effortless skills to portray best emerging acts in dnb, jungle, reggae, house; just abit of everything really. The recently announced acts include Natty, The Mouse Outfit, DJ Shadow, A Guy Called Gerald and many more. This year, SGP's popular fine dining restaurant 'Milliways' has been curated by top head chef, Chris Gillard. He's known for his eccentric cooking and his part in cooking in the restaurants. Lost Vagueness and Shangri-La, which are situated in the heart of Glastonbury festival. The name 'Milliways' has been taken from Douglas Adams' seminal restaurant at the end of the universe... The festival is held from the 21st-24th July and is in a huge, beautiful garden in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Starting off Friday 29th with an organised food and drink day, giving a calmer, more family feel, bringing everyone together for the whole event. Rudimental, Stormzy and Andy C have already been announced for Saturday's line up, and a variety of other artists will be joining them, from Peter Hook and the Light and Shy FX to Kano and Dusky. It's looking like one hell of a Saturday! Hacienda Classical will be taking the helm on Sunday, recreating the tunes from the legendary Hacienda club in Manchester with a 40-piece orchestra as well as performances from Peter Hook and the Light. All in all it's shaping up to be one hell of a weekend so book your tickets now! Defected Croatia is a huge 5-day event taking place in Tisno at The Garden Resort. They will have DJs playing across the beach and the main stages, their outdoor club Barbarella's and daily boat parties. On the main stage, Basement Jaxx, Dennis Ferrer, Kenny Dope and Roger Sanchez who will then be accompanied by house DJs Lee Walker, Josh Butler and Sonny Fedora. Then you have the beach stage which will be presenting FCL, Atjazz, Karizma, Black Motion, Joeski, Adam Port and many more, with partners such as Soul Heaven, Point Blank and Soundwall presents Keinemusik, hosting this sick waterside dancefloor. Lastly, the Argonaughty boat party which sails twice daily around the other islands, will be hosted and soundtracked by friends of the Defected label such as Osunlade owned Yoruba Records, Belgian club La Rocca, Defected's own Glitterbox and Jimpster's legendary Freerange Records. Defected will also be hosting performances by Guti, Noir, Kings of Tomorrow and Honey Dijon at the famous outdoor club Barbarella.
