JULY 2016 THE SHOP 17 Tonneau Covers LEER, Elkhart, Indiana, presents the removable Ricochet by LEER and Ricochet XRT by LEER tonneau covers. When installed, the tonneaus provide security and protection from the elements. When removed—a process that takes about 10 minutes and requires only a Phillips screwdriver and 7/16-inch wrench— owners have access to the full truck bed. Ricochet offers a soft-cover look with hard-cover security and performance. The Ricochet XRT by LEER has the metal look of extruded aluminum panels. Both are made in the USA, with a streamlined appearance. Chevy Tubular Control Arms Classic Performance Products (CPP), Placentia, California, introduces its Tubular Control Arms for 1958-'64 full-size Chevy truck applications. Made in the USA, the arms provide the 5 degrees of caster needed when running a modern power steering box, and can also run with as little as 1-1/2-degrees for manual steering. They come fully assembled with new billet cross-shafts and new OE-type ball joints. The assemblies have the added safety created by the interlocking pivot sleeves, and work with all stock or drop coil springs. Fender Flares Paramount Automotive, Ontario, California, presents Traildriver fender flares offering a rivet-style design. The flares' co-extruded thermoformed construction includes a top layer of acrylic over a base layer of impact- resistant ABS plastic for maximum protection against the elements and a durable, elegant finish. They install easily into factory holes with no drilling and provide 2 inches of wheel coverage. The flares come standard in an OEM satin black textured finish, and can be painted to match the vehicle.
