Sun says it has developed eco-efficiency through established data-driven metrics, The report describes six case studies to show how Sun Chemical's "balanced scorecard" approach is used to evaluate its sup- pliers' environmental performance, helping to ensure suppliers remain vigilant in developing new technology that reduces the overall environmental footprint of their products. Some of the highlights from the report identify those commitments within Sun Chemical's supply chain covering raw materials, distribu- tion and internal fleet cars. "We're going beyond providing meaningful data that will help meet customer goals," says Gary Andrzejewski, the company's corporate vice president of environmental affairs. "We are showing concrete examples of things our suppliers are doing to help Sun Chemical meet and improve upon its eco- efficiency goals." Fulham's Class P LED Drivers Receive UL Listing Hawthorne, California-based Fulham Co., a global manu- facturer and supplier of energy efficient lighting systems, announces that its Class P LED drivers have been listed by Underwriters Laboratories, giving luminaire manufacturers a standardized platform for testing and evaluation of LED drivers. With this UL certification, luminaire manufacturers can develop new products using Fulham's Class P drivers and reduce cost and shorten time-to- market by virtually eliminating compliance testing, according to the company. With this type of UL certification, Fulham can now offer manufacturers Class P LED drivers that can be used as alternates in their products without the need for extensive compliance retesting. Fulham is only the second LED manufac- turer to meet the UL standards for Class P driver listing, the company says. Orbus Introduces 'Exhibitor's Handbook' Website Woodridge, Illinois-based Orbus Exhibit & Display Group announces the introduc- tion of a brand-new sales and marketing resource: The Exhibitors' Handbook website. The interactive product website presents all of the exhibit and display products offered in the company's unbranded catalog, The Exhibitors' Handbook, on a per- product basis. It's an unbranded resource meant for use for Orbus' dealer network to use in its sales and marketing efforts. Like the catalog, the Exhibitors' Handbook website displays all exhibit and display products in sorted categories for ease of viewing. The new website is located at www.theexhibitorshandbook.com. Watchfire Announces Winners of Digital Billboard Awards Danville, Illinois-based LED sign maker Watchfire announces that a campaign created by Barnes Advertising Corp. of Zanesville, Ohio, a fourth-generation, family-owned company, was named Best of Show in Watchfire's 2016 Digital Billboard Awards. Barnes was recognized for the digital billboard advertising campaign it developed in 2015 for Fink's Used Cars, also in Zanesville. The digital billboard awards were established to recognize digital billboard operators and advertisers who demonstrate advertis- ing effectiveness, design, entertainment and legibility in digital advertising using digital billboards. Purex Opens U.S. Facility UK-based fume extraction equipment manufacturer Purex International announces the creation of Purex Inc., a new sister company, and the opening of a U.S. sales and distribution facility in Schaumburg, Illinois. Purex Inc. will work in tandem with the UK office but operate as an independent entity. It was customer demand that led to the new location, the company says. "In the past we served the U.S. market from our UK office," says sales and business development manager Brad Banfill. "Having this facility puts us more in touch with our customers' needs." The new facility features a 12,000-square-foot warehouse and office space.
